More than 60 alumni, faculty and staff attended a KU Law reception in the Power & Light District on April 12. The Marquee Lounge at the restored AMC Mainstreet Theatre provided a fun venue for cocktails and conversation, and several attendees walked away with raffle prizes.

Final Arguments of the 2012 Moot Court Competition

Four finalists arose from a pool of 52 second-year law students to compete in the final round of the 2012 Moot Court Competition: Trent Byquist, Rachel Nelson, Bri Harris and Britt Lagemann. Representing the respondent, Byquist captured the award for best oral advocate, and he and Nelson won first place in the brief category.
