Olivia Black - Dean's Fellows
3L | Wichita, Kansas | Wichita State University
I am a 3L from Wichita, Kansas. I received a bachelor’s degree in health science with an emphasis in health administration from Wichita State University. Before law school, I worked for several years in healthcare. I desire to practice healthcare law but am open to other practice areas.
Currently, I serve as the vice president of the Black Law Students Association. Outside of school, I enjoy brunching with friends, binge-watching reality TV and rollerblading. Be on the lookout for an unofficial KU Law skate club! I have strange eating habits because I am gluten- and dairy-free. So, do not judge me if you see me eating kale and hummus every day.
At some point, we were all incoming students, and we understand the uncertainty that first-year students face when taking on the challenges of law school. We encourage you to do your best, ask for help and know that others face the same challenges. Welcome to KU Law.
