My name is Abe Pfannenstiel and I am a 3L here at KU Law! I am originally from the small town of WaKeeney, Kansas (and when I say small, my high school graduating class was a whopping 20 students), which is about 3.5 hours west of Lawrence on I-70! Besides serving as a Dean’s Fellow, I also serve on the Dean’s Diversity Leadership Council, and am a member of the St. Thomas More Society, Black Law Student Association, First Generation Professionals, and also try to support numerous student organizations by attending meetings and guest speaker opportunities. I also am often seen working at the front desk of the Wheat Law Library.
I am a big sports fan! If (fingers crossed) we get to have a college basketball season, keep your eyes out for announcements about the KU Law Basketball Camping Group — it’s a lot of fun and we all go to games together! In my free time, I also like to read and watch oldies television sitcoms! I am excited to get to know each of you and I am here to help make your transition into law school as easy as possible! Don’t hesitate to reach out to ask questions or even just to chat!
