Biography —
Thomas L. Lasley is currently an attorney with Kansas Legal Services, Inc., practicing out of its Kansas City, Kansas office since 2019. Prior to that, he was in the private practice of law for 40 years as a Director/Shareholder at the Kansas City, Missouri law firms of Gordon, Gordon & Lasley, P.C. and Slagle, Bernard & Gorman, P.C., specializing in estate planning, elder law and real estate law. In 2023, he became an adjunct professor of law at the University of Kansas School of Law where he teaches the Elder Law Field Placement Program. As such, he supervises, instructs and mentors his student interns in their one on one interactions with vulnerable, low income, low net worth, elderly clients represented by Kansas Legal Services.
