Keep up with important dates and deadlines from the day you’re admitted to your first day at KU Law.

Deadlines and important dates for students applying for admission to the KU Law Class of 2029 are listed below. Please check back for updates.

September 1, 2025: Application available. Visit law.ku.edu/apply.
February 20, 2026: Priority application deadline; KU will still consider applications after this date. Applicants taking the February 2026 LSAT exam will be considered to have met the deadline provided all other materials are received by February 20, 2026.
March 1, 2026: Priority date to file the FAFSA. File earlier if you can.
March 27-28, 2026: Admitted Students Weekend. Check back for registration information.
April 7, 2026: First seat deposit due
June 15, 2026: Second seat deposit due
August 20-26, 2026: Orientation/Lawyering Skills Courses
August 19, 2026: Admitted students - final transcripts due to LSAC
