KU Law graduates accept positions with law firms, businesses, government agencies, public interest organizations and judges across the country.

Overall employment for the Class of 2020 was more than 93%, with more than 83% of graduates landing positions in the best jobs category – defined as full-time, long-term positions that require passing a bar exam or where a law degree offers an advantage. This is the seventh consecutive year overall employment has exceeded 90%.

KU Law ranks in the top quarter of all law schools nationally for overall employment. A recent Law.com report places the school in the top third for full-time jobs that require bar passage.
