Library Hours

Overview

The Wheat Law Library is currently open to KU students, faculty, staff and KU affiliated patrons in accordance with the hours posted. Public patron hours, however, end at 5 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.

Users can also access basic virtual services by emailing lawref@ku.edu or calling 785-864-3025.

Library Resources

Wheat Law Library has revised its hours for the general public. Public access now ends at 6:15pm, Monday-Thursday, 5pm on Friday, and is unavailable on weekends.  

KU Law students retain card access during all open hours outside of public access times (see below). 

*VITA Program Exception: There will be limited access for VITA clients at the second level/15th street entrance on Mondays/Wednesdays until 8:45pm and on Saturdays until 11:45am starting February 16 through April 15.
