Biography

Ashley Grace joined the KU Law faculty at the beginning of the 2022-23 school year as a lecturer of law. She teaches in the Lawyering Skills program.

Grace was a judicial law clerk for Hon. Janette K. Rodecap of the 16th Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri. Following her clerkship, she spent four years in private practice representing employees in employment discrimination claims. Since 2020, she has served as assistant attorney general in the Labor Unit for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, which she continues to do in addition to teaching. Grace graduated law school in 2014 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

She serves as the Vice President for the UMKC School of Law Alumni Board of Directors. In 2022, Grace was the recipient of the UMKC Law Foundation & Law Alumni Association Pat Kelly Service Award and the Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming Award for Public Service.
