Biography —
Carly Masenthin represents Technical Staff at the Kansas Corporation Commission, where she works primarily in electric and natural gas regulation. In her time at the KCC, Masenthin has gained experience in a wide variety of energy issues in Kansas, including utility rate proceedings, transmission line sitings, winter storm mitigation and energy efficiency program creation and implementation. Since 2022, Masenthin has engaged in the stakeholder processes at Southwest Power Pool on behalf of the KCC, and has represented the KCC in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission proceedings. Masenthin is a 2018 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law and former member of the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy.
