Biography —

Diana Stanley is a partner at Depew Gillen Rathbun & McInteer, LC. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 2020, where she received the Environmental and Natural Resources Law certificate. While in law school, she received the Hershberger Energy Law Award and placed second in the National Environmental Moot Court Competition.

Stanley has published several articles on natural resources, environmental and property law. She is a member of the Kansas Title Standards Committee and is a co-author of the Oil & Gas Law Chapter of the Annual Survey of Law, published annually by the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas Chapter of the Annual Update on Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, published annually by the American Bar Association.

Stanley is active in the legal community. She was named the Kansas Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer of 2024 and serves on the Board of Governors as the Young Lawyer Delegate to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. In addition to her work with the legal community, Stanley serves on the governing body of Audubon of Kansas.
