Biography

Lindsie Ford is a public defender who has dedicated her career to ensuring fairness and justice in the legal system. Before joining the Kansas Board of Indigents’ Defense Services, she served as a public policy attorney advocating for survivors of sexual and domestic violence at the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. Ford has taught and presented on topics ranging from trauma-informed lawyering to criminal defense strategy, sharing practical insights drawn from years in the courtroom and at the Capitol. She has authored numerous legal guides and policy resources for practitioners and advocates and is an active member of the BIDS Legislative Committee.
