Rhiley Unruh

Rhiley Unruh joined KU Law in 2026 as an administrative associate for the Douglas County Legal Aid Clinic. Before coming to KU, she worked in several areas of the justice system, most recently as a juvenile corrections officer. She earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Fort Hays State University in 2021, with concentrations in corrections and victim advocacy.

Unruh's background has instilled a safety-first mindset and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment where students, colleagues and clients feel respected and secure. She enjoys creating organized, efficient systems that help the clinic operate smoothly while supporting its mission of expanding access to justice.

When she's not at the clinic, she enjoys reading, exploring new recipes, discovering great local restaurants and debating the best movies to add to her watchlist.
