Biography —
Scott Heidner grew up in the small town of Berryton, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's in political science in 1994 and went to on the University of Kansas School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1997. He is an owner and senior vice president at Braden Heidner Lowe & Associates, a lobbying and association management firm with offices in Topeka, Kansas, and Jefferson City, Missouri.
Heidner is a 2006 graduate of the Leadership Kansas program and winner of the Distinguished Leadership Award. He is a past president of the Lawrence Humane Society and the Topeka Jayhawker Club, a past board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Topeka and hosts two podcasts.
Outside of work, his hobbies include live music, fostering dogs from the Lawrence Humane Society and an unhealthy commitment to multiple fantasy football leagues.
