Biography

Since 2002, Weber has been a managing director at Prime Policy Group, a Washington DC government relations firm, managing the firm's transportation and infrastructure practice. Prior to joining the firm, Weber served at another government relations firm specializing in transportation and local government issues. Becky previously served for 10 years as republican counsel to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Weber began her career as an honors attorney at the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). She then served as an attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration at U.S. DOT and in the Legislation Division of the Office of the General Counsel at US DOT. In 2001, she served on the Bush/Cheney Transition Advisory Team for DOT.

Several clients have recognized her contributions with awards including the Meritorious Service Award in 2012 and the President's Award in 2022 from the National School Transportation Association, and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award from North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory in 2016. She serves as a mentor for the Baylor in Washington program and KU Law's Sixth Semester in DC Program.
