Paige Fitzpatrick - Student Ambassador

Hi! My name is Paige Fitzpatrick, and I am a 1L from San Antonio, Texas. I received my bachelor's in psychology with a minor in both sociology and international studies from the University of Oklahoma in the spring of 2025.
I always knew that I wanted to pursue law school. While I never had a specific field that called out to me, I knew I was interested in advocacy and making justice more accessible. Although I'm still navigating what field would best fit my interests and goals, I have a strong interest in public interest law!
When I was looking for my future law school, I knew that I wanted to find an establishment that fostered a supportive environment with the tools to help students fulfill their long-term goals. One admitted student's weekend later, and I knew KU was the school for me! Here, I feel empowered to explore and find my calling in the legal field with the help of faculty and peers.
To my surprise, I also happen to love Lawrence, Kansas. Lawrence is a friendly, familiar town with beautiful scenery and plenty to do.
I'm happy to share more about my experience at KU law so far and give a little insight as to what it's like to be a 1L exploring their legal interests!
