Biography

Dr. Bakht Munir is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Kansas School of Law and a faculty member at the University of the Punjab. He is the author of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Lawyers and has published over 45 peer-reviewed articles spanning legal theory, constitutional governance and interdisciplinary research. His scholarship bridges jurisdictions, drawing on deep expertise in both the United States and Pakistan.

Dr. Munir has served as visiting faculty at several leading institutions, including the Pakistan Administrative Services, International Islamic University Islamabad, Lahore University of Management Sciences, University of Management and Technology, Superior University and the University of Lahore. He is an active reviewer for prominent academic journals, including the Global Legal System Review, Law and Policy Review and the Scholars Panel.

His research centers on the intersection of AI and constitutional governance, with broader interests in law, technology and public policy. Recognized as a leading voice in legal innovation, Dr. Munir’s work addresses pressing national and global challenges — from responsible AI integration and institutional reform to the evolving architecture of legal systems. His teaching and research portfolio spans AI, constitutional and administrative law, legal history, commercial law, Islamic jurisprudence and linguistics. He has also supervised numerous LL.M. theses on critical legal issues, contributing to the next generation of legal scholars and practitioners.
