Olivia Meyer - Student Ambassador
1L | Olathe, Kansas | Texas Christian University
Hi! My name is Olivia Meyer, and I am a first-year law student from Olathe. I graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in political science and minors in general business and psychology. During my time at TCU, I served as director of marketing for my sorority, president of the Political Science Distinction Program and director of policy and advocacy for the AddRan Leadership Program.
What makes KU Law so special is truly the people. The collaboration and friendship among students are unmatched. Everyone is incredibly supportive and genuinely wants to see one another succeed. From professors who are invested in their students to classmates who quickly become friends, KU Law has felt like a community from the very beginning. I have loved being part of an environment where I feel both challenged academically and supported personally.
After law school, I hope to pursue corporate transactional work, specifically mergers and acquisitions or contract negotiations, and eventually return to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Even though I grew up so close to Lawrence, I had no idea how much the city had to offer! From great workout classes and restaurants to coffee shops, beautiful walking trails and gorgeous weather, I have loved getting to know Lawrence in a whole new way. Please reach out!
