Sadie Allen - Student Ambassador

1L | Independence, Missouri | Sterling College
Hi! My name is Sadie Allen, and I am a first-year law student from Independence, Missouri. I attended Sterling College, where I earned bachelor's degrees in criminal justice and psychology. I chose KU because of the sense of community I felt on my visit and the many opportunities KU Law has to offer!
I chose KU Law because of the sense of community I felt during my visit and the many opportunities available to students. Since arriving, I have enjoyed getting to know my classmates and learning from the faculty. The welcoming environment has made my experience at KU Law especially rewarding, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn alongside people who bring different experiences and perspectives to the classroom.
Outside of law school, I enjoy reading and baking. My advice to prospective students is to find something you are passionate about and find a way to intertwine that with the law. I am involved with Advocates for a Barrier-Free Legal Education and First-Generation Professionals as a first-year representative, and I am also a member of Women in Law.
I'm happy to answer questions about my experience at KU Law, the application process, student life or anything else you're curious about. I look forward to connecting with you!
