Keegun Gose Keegun is a 3L from Abilene, Kansas. Keegun went to undergrad at KU where he majored in History and minored in Education. During his undergraduate years, Keegun worked for KU as a Peer Advisor and Orientation Assistant.

Keegun started at KU Law in 2023. In addition to Dean's Fellows, he serves on the Executive Boards for both the Student Bar Association and the KU Journal of Law and Public Policy. Keegun is a member of the Moot Court Council and authored an article set to be published in the Journal this year.

Keegun spent both his 1L and 2L summers working for the Douglas County Public Defense office. His advice for 1Ls is to pace yourself.

“1L year is a marathon and the pace changes after the first few weeks. Focus on establishing good routines and getting to know classmates at the beginning of the year because the workload increases as the semester progresses. For me, routinely studying with friends was the most important part of my 1L experience both socially and academically.”
