Connor Works is a third-year law student from Lenexa. He is a summer starter and is graduating early in December and moving on to get his LLM in taxation from UMKC. In his first year at KU Law, he participated in the Jessup Moot Court Program and was the only first-year law student on the team.

His best advice to a 1L is to make sure you jump into the law school community as soon as you can. There are clubs and programs for every student and you should participate in as many as interest you. You never know where your best friends and future job opportunities will come from.
