Hello, everyone! My name is Leah Stein, and I am a 2L from Dodge City, Kansas. Before coming to law school, I received my undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Kansas.
At KU Law, I am involved in a variety of activities. This year, I am excited to serve as a staff editor on the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy and participate in moot court through the Shook, Hardy & Bacon Advocacy Program. I am also a member of Women in Law and the Federal Student Bar Association. Outside of law school, I enjoy playing tennis, going on long walks around Lawrence, and hanging out with friends!
My best advice for 1L year is to focus on developing a comfortable and realistic routine! Law school is a marathon, not a sprint. Try to find consistency in your studying, mealtimes, exercise, sleep, and time you leave open for other things you enjoy!
