Blayne O’Connor is a 2L at the University of Kansas School of Law from Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2025 with a degree in finance.

At KU Law, she serves as the President of Women in Law and as a LexisNexis Representative. During her 1L year, she was also a student ambassador. This past summer, she worked as a law clerk at DM Injury Law in its pre-litigation department, where she gained hands-on experience working with clients and assisting with personal injury matters.

Outside of law school, O'Connor enjoys both hand and machine embroidery and runs her own small business, Meant to Bee Embroidery. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, taking workout classes, going on walks and trying new restaurants.

Her biggest advice for students starting their 1L year is to take a deep breath and give yourself some grace.

"Law school is challenging, but you earned your place here. Do your best, trust yourself, and remember that everything has a way of working out."
