2L, Reno, Nevada | University of Nevada
Wade Hollenback Wade is a 2L from Reno, Nevada. He earned his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada. This past summer, he worked in a courthouse, an experience that strengthened his interest in pursuing a career in public interest.
Some of Wade’s favorite experiences from law school happened outside the classroom and include playing in the intramural basketball championship at Allen Fieldhouse with the law school team and winning the 1L Bluebook Relays. Hollenback currently serves as president of the Asian Law Students Association and is a staff editor for the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy.
Wade’s advice to incoming 1Ls is to set clear, realistic goals and focus on steady progress.
“Law school can be demanding, but staying consistent and maintaining perspective can go a long way in making the experience not only manageable but even fun!”
