Lauren Fallis - Dean's Fellows
2L, Leawood, Kansas | University of Tulsa
Lauren is a second-year law student from Leawood, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Biology and was a four-year Division I soccer player. At KU Law, aside from being a Dean’s Fellow, she is a member of Women in Law and was included in the pro bono honor roll from her work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and Traffic Court.
Lauren spent her 1L summer as a Legal Associate Intern at AbbVie in North Chicago, where she worked on patent prosecution, IP litigation and FDA regulatory matters. She has also interned with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office in Kansas City.
Outside of law school, Lauren enjoys watching TV shows like Severance and The Bachelor with her friends. Her best advice to a 1L is to “lean on your friends for support and to make time outside of law school to do things that make you happy!”
