Hannah Shultz is a 2L from Sulphur Springs, Texas. Prior to attending law school, she received her bachelor’s in Political Science with minors in Gender, Women, and Sexuality studies and American Sign Language from Oklahoma State University. This past summer, she worked with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Kansas City.

In addition to being a Dean’s Fellow, she is a member of the Energy and Environmental Law Society and is competing in Moot Court. Outside of law school, she enjoys running, trying new restaurants and spending time with her friends.

Her best advice for 1L year is to try and keep a positive perspective on the law school journey.

“Yes, it’s going to be hard at times but you're capable of succeeding! Remember why you're here and know that the tough moments won’t last forever!”
