Hello! My name is Corrinne and I am a 2L here at KU Law. I am also working toward my M.A. at the KU School of Journalism through the joint degree program. I graduated in the spring of 2020 from Wellesley College with a B.A. in political science and women’s and gender studies. I am from Eudora, Kansas and am excited to be back in Lawrence!

After graduating in a pandemic, I returned home and worked as an Instacart shopper and then later at Target. I decided that I wanted to apply to KU because of the dual degree program, the proximity to my family, and my love for Lawrence. I live with my partner and my cat, Corduroy, in a house near Massachusetts Street. In my free time, I love to exercise, listen to music and play Minecraft.

My academic interests center around feminist interventions in politics, law, and media. With my law and journalism degrees, I intend to make accessible complicated legal decisions and their implications. My life goal is to be a feminist legal scholar and to teach law students with an emphasis on critical feminist theories. As a non-binary person, it is my goal to continue to make KU Law and the wider law community more accepting and supportive of students of all identities. I am excited to represent KU Law and I cannot wait to help build community by meeting new students!
