Hello! My name is Anshul Banga, and I am a second-year law student from Atlanta, Georgia. I went to the University of Georgia and received my bachelor’s degree in international affairs with a minor in public administration.
Throughout my undergrad career I had switched my major on five different occasions, as I was never sure what I wanted to do. I had originally started as an economics and accounting major but eventually switched to international affairs. While I had always considered law school as a possibility, I became confident it was something I wanted to pursue after being able to take a few law school classes as an undergrad.
In choosing a law school, I sought to find a school that would not only challenge me academically but also created a supportive environment. Even before I attended orientation, I had felt supported by the law school community through ambassadors, advisors and other KU professionals.
As the first person to attend law school in my family, I understand how daunting the entire process – from applications to waiting until classes start – can seem. If you need any help with the process or need someone to ask questions about law, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you!
